About Me

Updated 8/24/16

Hi! I’m a senior in college aspiring to graduate a little less than a year from now. After that, I have no idea what I’ll be doing, but you can bet there’ll be time for gaming in there somewhere! As you may have guessed from the title of this blog, my name is Susan. 😉 I enjoy reading, writing, doing art projects, sewing, and cooking, among other things like walking my dog and watching the clouds. I live in a part of the U.S. where winters are pretty long and summers are sadly shorter than they really ought to be, and as a result I’m also a big fan of stuff like gardening, berry picking, and going to a favorite local lake (and while my tanning skills are always a bit on the rusty side, it doesn’t stop me from gathering freckles!). Don’t get me wrong, I love snow, but it can only go on for so many months before it starts getting a bit old.

In addition to all that stuff, I like to play video games. One (relatively) recently acquired title is—wait, can you guess?—Style Savvy: Fashion Forward. I have more info on the game at the About the Style Savvy Series page, but basically it came out in Fall 2012 and it’s a whole lot of fashion fun. My in-game persona is a lot like me: quiet, calm, gentle. Naturally, she also has a drop-dead sense of fashion, and—wait, I’ll read you her bio from the game.

Speaking of whom, here's the girl herself (aka moi)!

Yup, that means the bio of moi!

So if you like what you see here, stick around—there’s plenty more in the archives, and lots more still to come.

Yeah, I don’t really have a pet dolphin. That would be awesome, though! (Image courtesy of fanpop.com.)

Well, thank you so much! I’ve been swamped with stuff in the past couple of months, but I fully intend to come back and finish everything up neatly by the end of the year. So there will be a few more posts for you to read! 😉

Hey Susan! I was wondering if I should get SST? Can you post a review or something so I know what it’s like? Thanks so much, and I love your site!

      Hi Anna!
I would say YES. You should totally get it! The game is super fun and has lots more to do than fashion-based series like the Imagine games. There are over 12,000 items (according to the box), lots of different hairstyles, a photoshoot option, your personal boutique, and your very own apartment that you can decorate. You don’t unlock things all at once either, so that helps to keep the game fun! And if you get bored, you can always restart! I’d say, go for it. 🙂
