Help Me Get to Beaumonde City!

As you may have read here or here, I’m getting ready to move out of Styleville to somewhere a little bit bigger, brighter, and more full of fashion. The trouble is that that same fashion economy could be happening right here in the Styleville, but just hasn’t made the leap overseas.

So before I sell all my worldly possession (just kidding, though I might need a very big boat to bring them all with me) and move to the southern coasts of England, I thought I’d put an appeal up here for all of you. If you’re interested in seeing new content on the blog, give this petition for bringing some style stateside a read.

As always, thanks so much for reading! Right now my travel plans are fairly set for early May, so the content I’m putting up will change a little then.

Also, a quick apology for the brief hiatus. School is in session once again, and you know how that always goes…

I end up so frazzled that it’s all I can do to drink tea and calm my nerves!

Got Caught Up

This post isn’t an official post, just a small pause for celebration. From pretty much Day One on this blog, I’ve been behind in putting up my prose and pictures. I’d have things at the ready, but I wouldn’t get the photos off the SD in time or something would come up, and before I knew it I was two weeks behind and swamped in content. Well, I’m happy to report that such is no longer the case, and I hope it never will be the case again.

In celebration, I treated myself to some ice cream. Heck, it’s spring! Why not?

Photo-Album Style

After a lot of rather word-heavy posts, I think it might be time to change the style of the blog, if you catch my drift. Just as there are distinct styles in the fashion world, so too are there distinct styles in the ways of the blog. And with schoolwork starting to get heavy and the boutique in Dierdee’s (or, y’know, Shea’s) somewhat-capable hands, I think I’d like to start off on a new foot. Starting sometime next month, posts are going to go from wordy to streamlined, without all that chunky prose to look through. Instead of telling a story in so many words, I’ll tell it in more pictures and captions. Don’t worry, there’ll still be plenty of text to look at—just not quite so much as there has been. I promise it’ll be great for everyone—less work for me, less reading for you, with the same story being told and the fun-levels remaining constant. Hope you’re looking forward to it as much as I am!
