1/1/14

Doesn’t this seem like the perfect note to end things on? I’ve written and uploaded exactly one hundred posts for my blog over the course of the past year. Granted, some were longer, some were shorter, some were extremely delayed…but all in all, I pulled things together and published content! And now, while other things will most likely call me away from Styleville and Lilac Breeze in the future, my adventures will be forever recorded here for you to enjoy. And I promise to reply to all comments, so if you really love what you see, be sure to let me know.

Wishing everyone the very best in the New Year, and in the years to come!

Oh, Anna, this is the sweetest comment! I guess I hadn’t realized how interested you faithful readers are in my fashion tastes. I am pretty busy with school at the moment…but maybe I can find time to update sporadically. 😉 Would that be okay with you?

How sweet of you to say so! I am pretty busy with school at the moment, but if you really want me to, I can certainly try to squeeze in the occasional sporadic update… 🙂

Why, thank you! If you want to create something based on my blog, I wouldn’t mind in the slightest. In fact, another girl, Mackie, made a blog inspired by mine. (www.mackiesplace.wordpress.com) So I definitely do not have a problem with it–go crazy, and have fun! And let me know once it’s up–I will definitely follow your posts. 😀

Hey, PLEASE PLEASE don’t end this! I absolutely love this blog! ❤ It is the best SST blog I have seen and I really hope you can keep uploading… Also, if you don't mind, could you let me know how you created this blog? I would love to make one of my own and could use some pointers 🙂

      Dear Caitlyn!
I’m SO sorry it took me absolutely ages to get back to you–I’d lost my password for a bit there, and was very swamped with other silly things not nearly as important as reporting out about my life in Styleville. 😉 I wanted to let you know that, as of NOW, I AM planning on reviving the blog! I hope to return to posting around once a week, and definitely at least a couple of times a month–or lots more! I should be getting my return-post together in the next couple of days or so, so definitely keep your eyes out for it!
As for making a blog of your own–I’m not sure, perhaps you’ve already started. I just used the WordPress customization options, and spent a lot of time deciding how I wanted to tag or categorize my posts. I browsed themes until I found one that I liked, and just kept switching things up until it looked good. It’s a long process, and it took many hours (of fun!) before I was truly satisfied with the result. So, a lot of logging in and logging out, looking at the front page, and hoping no one stumbled upon this while I was still in the building stages! I did choose to customize my font, and to do that used a bit of HTML coding within my posts, once I’d decided the font I wanted. I used Segoe UI–it’s streamlined, chic, and fun! I was also very inspired by 9balllarry.wordpress.com, a blog that explores the game Endless Ocean 2 in a similar way. I would highly recommend it if you’re looking for a bit of reading between now and when my next post goes up. 😉
And I just wanted to say–your comment meant a lot to me in a time when many other things were spiraling out of my control, and I truly didn’t have the time to commit to posting. However, now that my life is going a little bit more like it should be, I’m looking forward to getting back into it, and hope you will keep coming back and reading more.
Thank you so, so much, and again, so sorry I’ve been absent for so long.

      Susan
P.S. I would be delighted to check out your blog once it's online!!! Be sure to send me a link, okay?! 🙂
